Ravi Krishnamurthy is the Head of Sugar – India Subcontinent, at COFCO International (a global agri business organization headquartered in Geneva), with over 30 years of experience in the agriculture commodities sector, covering sugar, grains and oilseeds. With more than 20 years of working specifically in the sugar and ethanol industry sector, has been in close touch with all the main stake holders. He has been a member of the CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) task force on Sugar and Ethanol and played the lead role in heading the working group on India sugar exports, engaging with the industry and the relevant Government bodies.
Prior to COFCO he has served in organizations like The Australian Wheat Board and PepsiCo. He is a Chemical Engineer and a Post Graduate in International Trade from IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade), New Delhi.
